FacilitiesThe Jivan hall on the first floor and the Anjali Hall on the second floor with a seating capacity of 150 + are available for meetings, conferences and seminars with sound system (provision for 2 microphones). Chairs are provided for the use of participants. The renovated Vikas Hall (medium sized) with a seating capacity for 60 isavailable on the ground floor at the entrance of the Retreat House. The dining hall has a seating capacity of 100 people. Tables and chairs are provided. The participants are expected to wash their plates and cups after the meals. There are 29 rooms for the use of the participants. 20 rooms have 3 beds in each room (60 beds). 9 rooms have four beds (36 beds). Total No, of beds = 96. These rooms are NOT self contained. Each room has a wash basin. Bath and toilets are in common. On the FIRST FLOOR there are 7 SINGLE ROOMS WITH BATH & TOILET ATTACHED. Bed linen and mosquito net are provided. Solar Energy hot water is available for the use of participants. The Mess provides vegetarian or non-vegetarian food depending on the nature of groups and participants. The Mess timings are: 8.00 am Breakfast, 10.00 am Tea Break, 1.00pm Lunch, 4.00 pm Tea, 8.00 pm Supper. ‘Aqua guard’ filtered water (normal and cold) is provided for drinking. All the bookings must be done in writing on the letter head of the organization. The exact time and date of arrival and departure of participants must be mentioned clearly. A visit from the organizers prior to the Seminar would be appreciated. Extending the time of stay after the programme/retreat is not permitted. A deposit of one-fourth of the total amount is to be paid in advance at the time of booking. If the party cancels the booking the deposit is non-refundable. Other FacilitiesThroughout the year the Retreat House is available for those who would like to make individually guided retreats (Priests, religious men and women and lay people). The Retreat House Staff is available for personally guided retreats. You may approach any of the staff members. The staff members are also available and can be contacted for personal counselling and spiritual direction. The Retreat House also offers facilities for guided meditation. Residential / non-residential facilities for Seminars/Workshops/Retreats, for groups from outside.
General InformationBookings for groups must be made well in advance and in writing. A registration fee (non-refundable) will be charged. On arrival, report at the reception desk where you will be given your room numbers. Bed linen and mosquito nets will be provided. Please bring your towel, toilet articles and writing material. Please follow the instructions and guidelines of the house
